HQ: new work by resident potters
March 21, 9 am – 5 pm
Note: we have decided to postpone this show! Please watch for our (hopefully soon) announcement of a rescheduled time.
Starting this January, the long-time clay studio on Lena Street where I’ve been throwing stoneware pots since 2009 – now known as HQ – has been turned over to five resident potters. Most are ‘graduates’ of our classes over the last two years & have gotten more involved in their daily studio practice as well as in helping run the Green River gallery & studio.
Working with the same clay, glaze palette, & kiln that I’ve had going here for many years (I’ve re-located my private studio back out in the country) these innovative artists continue evolving in their own directions, making unique hand-built & wheel-thrown work.
Saturday March 21 – one day only – we’ll have an opening to present their newest pieces in the gallery & to celebrate spring, beautiful stoneware, & the new variety of work on display here at the gallery.
Please join us at Green River Pottery’s first group show!
